Sheffield United’s first change to the League One 2016/17 fixture has now been made, and it’s a switch for the Port Vale match.

The visit to Vale Park was originally set for Saturday April 15, but with it being the Easter Weekend both clubs had discussions, and as is pretty standard thesedays, the game has been brought forward 24 hours to the Good Friday slot.

It means it now takes place on Friday April 14, still with a 3pm kick off time.

With Rob Page making the switch to Northampton this summer, Port Vale are now managed by former midfielder Bruno Ribeiro, with Michael Brown assisting.

The remaining fixture that Easter Weekend sees us host Bradford City at Bramall Lane on Monday April 17 with a 3pm kick off also.
