The Blades face their second away trip in the space of four days as they travel south to take on Peter Taylor’s Palace side.

Palace have had a difficult start to the season, picking up just two points since their opening day victory over Southampton.

Bryan Robson will be hoping that Saturday is the start of a much needed improvement in United’s away performances.

The Blades have so far only managed a single point out of their first three away games.

Vital Quotes:

Robson: ‘If we can go with a similar performance to the first half at Blackpool we’ve got a great chance of getting a good result. Hopefully we can cause them a few problems.’

Crystal Palace Team News:

Former Blade, Paul Ifill, and Mark Kennedy look set to miss out through injury. However, Ben Watson and Matt Lawrence have both been passed fit.

Player to watch: Morrison

Morrison may not have made his desired impact on the Premiership but the striker has always been a threat at this level.

Sheffield United Team News:

Nick Montgomery is still short of fitness and misses out with Derek Geary, who serves the final of his three-match ban. David Carney is also a doubt with a hip injury and Lee Hendrie is not expected to make the squad despite playing for the reserves midweek.

Player to watch: Beattie

Was there really going to be another player to watch? Beattie has scored six in six so far this season, with four goals coming in the last two games!
