Chris O’Grady’s future with Sheffield United could be in some doubt now, even though the Brighton loanee has made it clear that he wants to stay at Bramall Lane.
The Sheffield Telegraph feels that we ‘face an anxious wait’ to find out if the striker’s loan will continue, or even extend beyond the end of the year? This is because Brighton are now searching for a new manager following Sami Hyypia’s decision to resign on Monday.
His resignation could see the new manager keen to ‘assess his options’, which could well include bringing O’Grady back to the Amex to look at him first hand before deciding what to do.
O’Grady himself though has told the Argus, a local paper to the Brighton area, that he would be keen to extend his spell with the Blades and is goes as far as saying that he is ‘expected to stay on loan at Sheffield United for the rest of the season.’
