Sheffield United could be bracing themselves for more, and a little more intense, interest in Harry Maguire.
It’s said in the Sheffield Star that ‘sources at Wolverhampton Wanderers’ have revealed that ‘the latest twist’ could see premier league interest shown in the 21-year-old as well?
Rumour has it that ‘a number of premier league clubs’ are interested in the defender with Hull, who knocked the Blades out of the FA cup in the semi final stage last season of course, among them.
Nigel Clough is keen to keep Maguire but the more reported interest shown, and the more the likes of championship outfit Wolves knock on the door, the more unsettling it becomes to Maguire and the less likely a stay beyond the end of next season at best becomes!
This saga looks like rumbling on for a little longer yet….
