Ready, willing and able.
That seemed to be the message that Blades boss Chris Wilder wanted to get across to the fans the other day.
The Premier League is currently in the process of getting ‘Project Restart’ underway, with players slowly returning to training, although there is yet to be an official date on when we will actually see games being played.
Speaking on Sky Sports The Football Show, Wilder was asked whether or not it was going to be easy for the club to carry on the momentum that they have built up through the early part of the season, momentum that has taken us to 7th place in the table and on the verge of a European spot.
Where will the Blades end the season?
Champions League
Europa League
Out of Europe
And the boss gave what might almost be described as the perfect answer to the question, saying that the players will ‘never take their foot off the gas’, words which were music to the ears of Blades fans.
Great interview seems to me the teams at the bottom half of the league are talking themselves into relegation where as CW talks so positively, such a difference and a refreshing one, so please he’s our gaffer

Genuinely think we’ll be one of only 3/4 teams actually wanting to give it a go

What about you? What do you make of Wilder’s comments on the situation?
If you’re chomping at the bit to play you already have an advantage over players that don’t want to play and those that don’t care whether they play or not.
And that’s before we even consider fitness levels
