The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Barnsley this weekend.

Sheffield United host Barnsley on Saturday April 23 for the game at Bramall Lane and the match carries a 12.30pm kick off.

Referee: David Coote
Linesmen: Matthew McGrath and Tony Peart
Fourth Official: Duncan Street

Match Day referee Coote is yet to officiate a United game this season.

He has however already taken in 27 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 97 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Burton Albion and Port Vale on October 24 with a total of six yellows being shown plus two reds. He also showed six yellows and two reds in February’s clash between Chesterfield and Peterborough.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
