Well, today’s the day.
After all that waiting, and all the various delays, we’re back, back in the football groove to slightly mispronounce what Hello sang. Yes, tonight we take on Aston Villa at Villa Park, in a game that has plenty of ramifications at both ends of the table.
And once this game is over, we stare down the barrel of a crunch game against Manchester United in the battle for Europe, but Blades fans have spotted something rather odd about the game, more specifically the man that will be in charge of it.
The Premier League has appointed Anthony Taylor to be in charge of the game, and that doesn’t sit happy with the fans, who when pointed out by @The_Bladesman, took to social media to point out the potential bias of having the game refereed by someone born in Manchester.

This isn’t the first time that Taylor’s name has been brought up when it comes to Manchester United, and whilst obviously there is no significant evidence to say he would favour the Red Devils in any way, that didn’t stop the Blades fans.
