Lots of Blades fans have been reacting to not just the performance, but pretty much the career of a certain Billy Sharp following victory over Norwich City.
I posed the question a few weeks ago whether or not Billy Sharp was the best Blades player this century, mainly because I wanted to see if there was anyone who would actually vote no, and so far there have been a couple of people.
Well, I wonder if they’re going to think about changing their minds after his display today, and indeed after the incredible stat that came after it. Not only did he score the winner against the Canaries but according to the club’s Twitter feed, Sharp hold the record for most league goals this century in English football, which is certainly some achievement.

So, of course, Blades fans were more than happy to pour the praise on for the 34-year-old for everything he’s done for the club.
