These Blades fans have been reacting to the comments made by boss Chris Wilder regarding his decision to give the captain’s armband to Billy Sharp.
Well it does make some level of sense when he puts it that way, doesn’t it?
Wilder was speaking to Sky Sports’ The Football Show and on there, he said that making Sharp the captain of his home town team was ‘one of the best decisions I’ve ever made’. He went on to give a detailed reason as to why he made that decision and noted that it was Sharp’s personality and determination for success at Bramall Lane that played a big part in making that happen.

Those words were echoed by a number of Blades fans on social media, who responded to the tweet by confirming that it was indeed one of the better decisions that Wilder made as boss.
