Home Games Crucial!

Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock has reinstated what we all already know, that our destiny depends on our remaining games at Bramall Lane.

The Blades are set to face Newcastle, West Ham and Watford at home before finishing the final game of the season against Wigan.

Incredibly United will face three out of the bottom five clubs at home in that time and also face a trip to the Valley to take on the remaining side Charlton.

To say that each game is like a cup final is almost an understatemnet and Warnock knows the importance the Bramall Lane crowd can have on the club’s destiny.

Warnock told the Sheffield Star, ‘We haven’t come this far just to throw in the towel. It’s important that we turn our ground into a fortress for our remaining four games there.

‘I can’t stress enough how that helps my lads. They (the fans) were magnificent at Bolton.

‘That was with a few thousand, so I can only imagine what it’s going to be like with 30-odd thousand of them inside their own stadium.

‘To be fair, they’ve been magnificent all season. I really can’t stress enough how important their backing is.’

The hard work starts on Saturday with Newcastle’s visit to Bramall Lane, where another bumper crowd is expected to roar the Blades on.
