Charlton Athletics` midfielder Matt Holland has been linked with a loan move to either Sheffield United or Ipswich Town in January.
The 32 year old has found it hard to break in to Charlton’s first team so far this season, leading to speculation that the Blades may make a move for him in January when the transfer window re-opens for Premiership clubs.
However, Holland has played down the move telling BBC Sport, ‘I’ve been in and around the first team this season so it’s not like I’m out of the picture and hopefully I can do enough to win a more permanent role’.
