Nigel Clough has already expressed an interest in turning Chris O’Grady’s loan spell into a permanent move from Brighton & Hove Albion if possible, now the players joined him in expressing that interest.
O’Grady is only scheduled to stay until January but he’s already moved his family back to Yorkshire with him and has told the local media in Brighton that they’ve already settled ‘straight away’ with this being much easier than the life he’s led with the Championship outfit as they’ve already lived in no fewer than four temporary homes, not to mention the fact he wasn’t getting much first-team football.
The move to Brighton was the move that he preferred at the time but it does seem that with hindsight, having started just five games this season, he would have opted for the move to Bramall Lane.
O’Grady’s debut, he had already been forced to miss the weekend game due to a knock, ended after just 22-minutes of the one-nil defeat to Milton Keynes Dons on Tuesday night when he limped out of the game….
