It looks like he’s really settling in.

Just goes to show what he’s capable of when he’s given a consistent run in the first-team rather than ducking in and out, and long may it continue.

I’m talking of course about Ben Osborn.

Having now started the last four games for The Blades in the Premier League, he’s started to show what he can bring to the team, even if it’s not something that is tracked as often as goals and assists.

According to this stat from @The_Bladesman, Osborn has provided three ‘pre-assists’ three of the eight goals that Sheffield United have scored in that time. He also forced the corner that brought about John Egan’s late winner against Wolves.

Will Osborn be seen more in the first-team next season?

Yes

Yes

No

No

And it was stats like this that have made him quickly becoming one of the more respected players in Chris Wilder’s squad, so when the stat came up, they were quick to compliment the 25-year-old for his displays since the restart.

What about you? What have you made of Osborn’s displays since he came into the side?

he has been that good we have not missed Fleck which in it’s self speaks volumes about how good he has been.It would be a real shame for him to lose his place when Fleck is fit but having said that Fleck is outstanding to.Headache for the gaffer.

  • Bob Walker says:

Osborn suitable squad player. Fleck is a class footballer.
