Well, Sheffield United haven’t even lost their manager Neil Warnock yet, and still the Mirror is reporting on his possible successor!

According to the paper, if Neil Warnock joins Portsmouth, The Blades will try to tempt former England, Watford and Aston Villa boss back into football management. The report also claims that Stuart McCall would make up part of the ‘dream ticket’.

Mandaric is reportedly in talks with Warnock and looking for an answer in the next few days.

The Mirror suggest that Graham Taylor, who is back doing media work since resigning as manager of Aston Villa, would be brought in as director of football with McCall taking on the coaching role.

Lets take one step at a time shall we? Warnock may not be given permission to talk to Portsmouth and if he does, he may not agree terms!
