I really don’t understand what the fuss is about.
It will be just like the old days in League One for us when we could barely get over 5,000 for certain cup games, so it’ll be a throwback more than anything.
A recent report from the Sports Ground Safety Authority published in The Times (via @The_Bladesman) claims that stadiums will be a maximum of 33% full and as low as 17% when fans are allowed to return to games in October.
This would put Bramall Lane’s capacity anywhere from between 10,791 and 5,395 for the foreseeable future depending on what can and can’t be achieved with social distancing, controlling fan entrance etc.
It was a matter that certainly garnered a few interesting responses from Blades fans on social media, as they discussed the pros and cons of the idea.
Then don't start another season until everyone can attend. Simple!

Not how it works though, is it. Spreading it to thousands is how the vulnerable will end up on a slab. Still, this will wreck football economics

Because it gives the lads some actual support from the stands. We’ve lost more than we’ve won this restart and the crowds would’ve made a difference imo.

How on Earth is this fiasco going to be managed ? I can envisage trouble on match days with excluded fans doing their best to get in at certain clubs. #madness

What about you? What do you make of this news?
Do you agree with these fans?
Yes
No
Just as a personal note, if you miss out on going to games at Bramall Lane, I wouldn’t be so sure you can make up for that by going to away games. I think that teams will probably utilise the away end to help spread out the home fans. Plus there’s less chance of a fan ‘bringing something back’ if they were to travel to certain areas of the country.
