Lots of Blades fans have been reacting to the latest statement to come from the Premier League.
It wasn’t really much of an update was it all things considered?
It’s not like the last one for instance where they actually gave us an ideal deadline to work with, this just leaves us with more questions than answers.
The Premier League released a statement on Friday saying that football will not be returning until it was ‘safe and appropriate’ to do so, with no further indication of when the game might be brought back.
Will the 19/20 season actually be completed?
Yes
No
However, there didn’t seem to be one particular reaction to the news coming from the Blades fans, as they couldn’t quite make up their mind on how to feel about the whole thing. Some seemed to laugh off the whole endeavour, whilst some wanted to talk about the downside that is going to be this extended break without football.
Seems like top leagues will be restarted and finished at some point. Unless this goes on a lot longer than expected… https://t.co/goY5mL4cNj

“Advanced” the Football League and National League £125m. Appreciate they don’t need to gift them anything, but all this advance of money they were due in the future does is kick the can down the road for many clubs.
