Sheffield United’s second string slipped to defeat at Hillsborough last night despite being in front at half time.

The Blades used it as a chance to use a number of trialists on the game, as manager Kevin Blacwkell looks to strengthen his squad.

Elliot Omozusi, the former Fulham defender began the game at right back, and the twenty year old, who is comofortable in the centre impressed in a comfortable performance.

Argentinian midfielder Facundo Zampa began the game in the centre and put in an assured performance. Zampa looks comfortable on the ball and clearly has the ability to stay composed on the ball and spread the play.

Fabrice Pancrate who was mentioned yesterday began on the wing, but unfortunately teetered out as the game wore on. The Frenchman started the game well, but it was evident he was lacking match fitness as the game continued.

However, was striker Henri Camara who had the biggest impact. Despite it being six years since he burst on the scene with Wolverhampton Wanderers, the 32 year old still has pace in abundance.

It was his skill and trickery that earned the Blades a second half penalty, but Kyel Reid’s effort from 12 yards was comfortable saved.

It was Glen Little who gave United the lead in the first half.

Unfortunately the Blades couldn’t hold the lead and goals from Akpo Sodje and Francis Jeffers in the second half, completed the comeback for the Owls.

Blades:Bennett, Omozusi, Fortune, Maguire, Fortune, James, Little, Zampa, Reid, Pancrate, Camara.
