I think they might be asking a little bit too much in this situation.
It’s well known that there tends to be a ‘premium’ placed on English players when it comes to the transfer market, but I think this might be taking things a little bit too far.
According to a report from The Sun, Sheffield United might be tempted to go after Bournemouth shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale this summer and bring him back to the club if we can’t complete a move for Dean Henderson.
There is just one small problem though, a report from The Daily Express said that he is likely to cost any club that wants to buy him around £22m. Seeing as we could reportedly get Uğurcan Cakir for less than that, then it doesn’t seem to make much sense in us pursuing Ramsdale.
How much will Sheff Utd spend in the next window?
More than £50m
Less than £50m
And it seemed as if the asking price was enough to convince these Blades fans on social media to stay well clear of the 22-year-old.
Well he didn’t stop many goals at Bournemouth so no definitely not at 22 million pound more like 2 million and that’s risky

I’d have him back but £22m is a joke. No thanks, right now I’d rather have a go at bringing Ben Foster in for a couple of seasons. £22m could buy Wilder 2 or 3 class outfield players that could improve the squad.

I’d say 10-12m at a push. I’d more rather get someone cheap like Krul or Foster if we can get for the right money.

Not good enough and too much £££

22m?
Get stuffed.— Gavin Tann (@gavthebladetann) July 26, 2020
What about you? What do you make of these reports of us going after Ramsdale?
