Sheffield United manager Gary Speed believes Mark Yeates has been a key figure in the Blades recent upturn, and along with Andy Reid has provided a spark that was previously missing in the team.
‘Reidy is a quality player. Yeatsy has been great too, especially for the past month.
The pair have scored the last three United goals, coming in a 2-2 draw at Leicester, and Saturday’s 1-0 victory at Millwall, but Speed doesn’t think they can rest on their laurels just yet.
“It’s not about two lads. Everyone involved has played their part. Millwall was a very important win. That was massive for us but it’s important that we build on that.”
With talks ongoing to keep Reid at Bramall Lane, the pair could play a pivotal role as the Blades look to cement a position higher up the table.
