Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough says they will not be going to Wembley for a jolly after booking their place in the FA Cup semi-finals with a 2-0 win over Charlton Athletic at Bramall Lane.

having already beaten Aston Villa and Fulham from the Premier League, Nottingham Forest and now Charlton Athletic from the Championship, the blades now face Hull City from the Premier League at Wembley

Speaking on the FA Website, Clough said, ‘To get to this stage as a League One club in the Semi-Final is an incredible achievement.

‘No easy draws as well along the way, going down to Fulham and Villa Park and we’ve had a few breaks.

‘It’s essential that you get that little break at certain times.’

‘We’re going to try [and win it].

‘You look at the teams left in and it’s a little bit scary, who ever you get, but it’s about the financial boost and everybody enjoying Wembley.

‘But we’re not going there for a day out. You go to the seaside for a day out, not to Wembley.’

This will be United`s fourth semi-final appearance in the last twenty-one years as they will look to go one better for the first time since 1936 when they lost 1-0 to Arsenal. United last appeared in the semi-finals in 2003 when they lost to Arsenal at Old Trafford.

The blades have appeared in six finals previously, winning the competition on four occasions, the last coming in 1925.

Hull booked their place in the semi-final with a 3-0 home win over Sunderland.

The tigers are appearing in their first semi-final since 1930 when they lost to Arsenal in a replay. This will be only their second appearance in a semi-final as they look for their first final appearance.

The semi-final tie will take place at Wembley over the weekend of April 12th and 13th.
