United’s top goalscorer Iliman Ndiaye has been on fire this season and his performances have attracted the attention of many Premier League clubs.

The 22-year-old bagged the only goal in United’s 1-0 away victory at Ashton Gate which puts his goal tally up to eight for the season – notching him a goal ahead of Oli McBurnie in the race to be the clubs top scorer.

According to The Star, several unnamed top-flight teams are monitoring the Senegalese international. Ndiaye signed his first professional contract last September under Slavisa Jokanovic. His current deal expires in the summer of 2024 but with how Ndiaye has performed this season the Blades are desperate to get an extension over the line.

Ndiaye has ten goal contributions in eighteen Championship appearances, and they will be demanding a few more contributions from him before he heads off to the Qatar World Cup with Senegal.

Besides the goals and assists, Ndiaye contributes much more than that to the Sheffield United side. His work rate on and off the ball is something to admire, whether he is getting stuck into a duel or when he is attempting to press or set a pressing trap from the front.

His creativity levels are off the charts and he creates a lot of shooting opportunities for teammates with his offensive actions, specifically his dribbling skills which rip apart the opposition’s shape.
