Sheffield United moved to boost their squad for a final promotion push before the loan window closed on Thursday with the signing of forward Michael O’Halloran.
The Bolton forward has joined The Blades on loan until the end of the season with Danny Wilson, as he told the official website, having watched him for a while: ‘Michael is a player we’ve had our eye on for quite a while.
‘He can play on either flank or in a central striker’s role and amongst his numerous attributes he has got blistering pace.’
21-year-old O’Halloran, who signed a new 3-½-year contract recently, has two senior appearances for Bolton under his belt.
