Sheffield United plc has announced a profit of £6.3m for the year ended 30 June 2007.
The figures, which are available in full on the London Stock Exchange website, show turnover up 68% to £45.8m. The Blades joint property venture, United Scarborough Estates, produced a profit of £1.8m.
Interestingly, the bill for player wages and associated costs for the year was £16.2m. Has the addition of the likes of Beattie and Hendrie increased this figure further?
