Blades frustrated

Sheffield United kept their sixth clean sheet in a row but dropped more points at home in a frustrating 0-0 draw with MK Dons.

The blades made it seven games without defeat but they have now been held to goalless draws in their last two home games.

Barry Robson and Jonathan Forte had the best chances for the home side. Robson headed over after good work from Dave Kitson and Ian McLoughlin in the Dons goal thwarted Forte after getting in behind their defence.

George Long was hardly threatened in the United goal with Antony Kay and Stephen Gleeson going closest for the visitors but firing wide.

The draw leaves United three points behind Doncaster at the top of League One but with a game in hand on their Yorkshire neighbours.
