Blades boss Neil Warnock is understood to have failed with a bid to lure Wolves’ Scotland international striker Kenny Miller to Bramall Lane.
Warnock recently told the media that he has spoken to a number of targets and has lodged bids for 2 or 3 of his targets. Miller is currently unhappy at Molineux and recently refused to sign a new contract. He is being tracked by a number of Premiership and SPL clubs, but Neil Warnock must now turn his attentions elsewhere after his bid of £1.5M was refused, according to Sky Sports.
Other names continued to be linked with Blackburn’s Garry Flitcroft the latest in a long line of high-profiles players. The Blades are also understood to have made a bid for Cardiff City’s England U21 international Cameron Jerome.
