Sheffield United have completed the signing of Plymouth Argyle defender Simon Walton, on a season-long loan.
The former Leeds United man, who was deemed surplus to requirements by Peter Reid upon his arrival, spent last season on loan at League 2 side, Crewe Alexandra, but Kevin Blackwell believes he is ready for the step-up.
Famed for his Page 3 girlfriend Nikkala T, and an appearance on a recent version of Come Dine With Me, the youngster showed a lot of promise from an early age, without ever living up to his potential.
The deal could see Walton leave in January if Plymouth receive a permanent offer for his signature, but the first refusal of his signature will be given to the Blades.
