Aaron Barry has become the latest youngster to commit his future, albeit a short-term one, to Sheffield United.
19-year-old Barry has signed his first professional contract with The Blades, a contract that last for 12-months with the option to extend by another year.
On this contract Barry, as he told the official website, said: ‘John Pemberton has had a very big influence on my career and has helped me greatly.
‘I am now looking forward to working with Morgs, he is experienced and working alongside him can only improve my game further.
‘To sign this pro contract at Sheffield United is a dream come true. As a young lad growing up in Ireland I dreamt of this happening so I am already looking forward to next season.’
The Irish defender, who can play at fullback or in central defence, joined The Blades from Arklow Town.
