Our attempts to try and bring in goalkeeper Dean Henderson on a more permanent basis are going to be a little bit harder, because even if we can afford to match another club when it comes to submitting a bid, there’s still the issue of wages to contend with
According to a report from The Manchester Evening News, Chelsea are prepared to offer as much as £170,000 per week to the 25-year-old goalkeeper in order to bring him to Stamford Bridge. Now whilst that might make him fit in nicely with those in West London, it would be more than triple what the highest earning current member of the Sheffield United squad.

This goes on top of previous reports that Manchester United are willing to give him a new and improved contract to reflect his current ability.
