Sheffield United have agreed a fee for Stoke City forward Richard Cresswell.
Cresswell, who has featured in the previous two Blades games after overcoming a broken rib, is believed to be costing the Blades £450,000.
The deal will be sealed in January when the transfer window reopens, and will continue on loan until then, but when it does eventually become finalised will cut down on the Blades loanees, and free up another place for Kevin Blackwell.
Cresswell had previously played over 80 games for Stoke City, and scored the winning goal that all but sealed their promotion to the top flight.
