Goals from Ian Ross and Jordan Stephenson gave the Blades a narrow 2-0 win over Alfreton Town on Tuesday night.
The opener came right on the stroke of half time as ROSS found the bottom corner after a run into the box.
United doubled their lead on 57 minutes as ROBERTSON stabbed the ball home after a slip by the Alfreton defence.
The game provided the opportunity for new signing Gary Naysmith to play a full 90 minutes, along with trialists Doumbe and Williams.
However, it seems that Robson was not overly impressed with the Cameroon international Doumbe, as he has decided against offering the defender a contract.
