A Step Closer

Sheffield United striker Rob Hulse is a step closer to a return to the first team after he started running this week.

Hulse had been unable to put any pressure on the leg he broke back in March, but got the all clear to begin running last week.

The striker told the Sheffield Telegraph, ‘The first few steps felt a bit strange, and I didn’t go that far, but it was great to be out.’

Hulse’s recovery is made all the more impressive by the news that there were initial fears he may never play again.

However, the striker is now well on the road to recovery, and believes his return to the first team could only be a month away.

‘…I’m actually ahead of my personal target and I’m hoping in a month, or thereabouts, I can play my part in helping the club bounce back to the Premiership.’

In other news, Alan Wright (Ed- Yes he’s STILL at the club!) has entered into contract talks with Oldham Athletic.
