Sheffield United took a very creditable point from Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday.

The point on the day as we fought from behind twice against our second placed hosts should certainly be a bonus as we continue with our promotion hopes this year under manager Chris Wilder, and striker Billy Sharp took his tally for the 2018/19 season to 18 goals as he hit the brace on the day.

Statistics website Whoscored were very favourable in their post-game match ratings given the performance of the side across the 90 minutes, but in securing the brace, 32-year-old Sharp took their star man award with an individual rating of 8.25.

Completing the top five best performers on the day in their system were Enda Stevens (7.77), Oliver Norwood (7.68), John Egan (7.19) and new capture Gary Madine (7.09).

The gap to Leeds grows slightly in top spot, but there remains only a three point gap to Norwich in the last automatic promotion slot.
