The eight-point cushion that Sheff Utd have as a buffer in the play-offs should be enough but we’ll be keen to keep the momentum going, of an unbeaten run, when we got to Yeovil tonight.

With Yeovil relegated from League 1 following a draw on Saturday they literally have nothing to lose now as their fate has been decided so this could see the shackles come off at Huish Park, which might actually work in our favour?

Yeovil have to do without Joe Edwards (ankle) once again, along with Adam Morgan, Simon Gillett and Kevin Dawson. Recently appointed, former Sheffield Wednesday manager of course, Paul Sturrock will ‘run the rule’ over his squad again with the future in mind.

Nigel Clough will be ‘assessing’ the conditions of Jamie Murphy (groin), after he was injured in our two-two draw at Oldham – yet had to play on with all three subs already made, and Terry Kennedy, who went off injured at the break.

Matty Done (groin) and Steven Davis could return and are in the ‘party of 20’ that have travelled to Huish Park.

What you do in the play-offs is when it really counts but if you can take some momentum, not necessarily your best form, into the play-offs it helps and we’ll be expected to come home with at least a point tonight!

But will we?
