At the end of the day, this really shouldn’t be that much of an issue.

We’re exceeding expectations by a country mile, we’re comfortably above the relegation zone and things overall are looking rosy at Bramall Lane. Perhaps it’s the talk of Champions League that has got people thinking that little further ahead and perhaps being a little greedy, but it would seem that fans are wanting more and more out of this side.

Sheffield United were held 1-1 against Brighton And Hove Albion yesterday, but judging by the reaction on Twitter, one point simply wasn’t enough for a number of Blades fans.

They seemed to be rather annoyed by one decision, or lack thereof made by manager Chris Wilder, and that was his call to leave Lys Mousset on the bench during the dying stages of the game as he instead called on David McGoldrick to go try and grab something late on.

Should Wilder have brought on Mousset?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Like I said, at the end of the day it shouldn’t really matter, but when you look at their respective goal returns this season, you realise that the fans may just have had a point after all.

Wilder looked peeved off during his post match interview.
I think a combination of things fans going early, football pundits disbelief in Sheff Utd,strikers misfortunes and just plain unlucky.
After a deserved break the Blades don’t seem to get on top in the first half in many a game we seem to struggle then 2nd half get to grips. We need to be fired up more,am sure Wilder is disappointed today because it was a great chance to get the 3pts and show we can respond to those around us.Of course we are not out of it for the chance to play in Europe but we could have made a statement of intent and had others looking over there shoulders instead we need to get the starting strikers fired up more we are just falling short and we don’t score that many anyway sometimes its okay because our strong defence does the rest.
Good performance but must do better !!!

Obviously we are doing much better than anyone might have thought we would do, but having watched them all season we now know we could have done better, much better.
Never won a header against the “land of the giants” of Brighton’s back four so using Mousett pace and playing the ball on the floor more would have perhaps been seen as a better alternative to those which we eventually went with. Still all to play for though and hopefully we learn from this. UTB

It’s simple – McGoldrick and Sharp in home games and McGoldrick and Mousset away.
I realise people are now keen on McBurnie but he’s simply not good enough.
