It was certainly one of the more aesthetically pleasing goals that he scored for us.
In fact, I’d make the argument that it was the most aesthetically pleasing of the three goals that he scored for us, but I’ll let you people talk it out amongst yourselves.
I’m talking of course about David Brooks superbly executed volley away to Millwall from the 2017/18 season, a goal which the club dedicated it’s ‘goal of the day’ to, and amongst the comments praising how good the goal was, and indeed the player who scored it, there was a little bit of a debate amongst the Blades fans about whether or not he would come back to the club one day.
Baller this kid love him back at lane in this team

Brooks left the club in the summer of 2018 to sign for AFC Bournemouth and went on to have reasonable success with the Cherries but has since had some terrible injury problems, but that hasn’t stopped fans from saying that we should be looking at bringing him back into the fold.
Will David Brooks play for us again?
Yes
No
Who knows, if they get relegated and are forced to sell him, maybe we’ll be in a position to bring him back, but there’s still a long way to go before that happens.
There’s always a couple isn’t there
“Oh, he used to play for us, he can’t possibly have meant it”
I suppose he can only have meant it if he scores one like that for Bournemouth.
Only injury has stopped this lad from being taken by one of the top clubs, the skill levels are incredible despite him playing for us.
