Goals from Danny Webber and Chris Lucketti gave United a comfortable, if not impressive, 2-0 win over Worksop Town on Tuesday night.
A 22nd minute penalty from Webber gave the Blades the lead before a tap in for Lucketti on 63 minutes doubled the score.
United may not have been prolific up front but it seems the defence was solid enough, as neither Paddy Kenny or Ian Bennett had a shot to save all game.
United travel to Alfreton Town next for a friendly this evening that will include a run out for the trialists Jean-Joel Perrier Doumbe and Jan-Michael Williams, kick-off 7.30pm.
