A few quotes and a bit of news as we look towards the game v Crawley Town.

Their manager, Richie Barker, has told www.thisissussex.co.uk

‘I didn’t have a great time against Sheffield United when I was at Bury last season. I don’t think I’ve even scored a goal against them as a manager so it would be nice to break that duck.”

Adding: ‘I’m looking forward to it, I spent four years working in the academy there and three or four of the players who will play on Tuesday night were part of my U13s and U15s team.’

He also talks about the times he used to clean Danny Wilson`s boots when a player and of course, he also played for Wilson when he was manager.

“He was a fantastic manager learnt loads from.” He also says that we have an ‘excellent side`.

So what does Wilson think?

He told www.yorkshirepost.co.uk he was hoping to bounce back from the Coventry game (see stats: Sheffield United 1 – Coventry 2 )

And looking forward, he says: “The key is not letting it affect us. Tuesday against Crawley is such a big game now and we have to come out of the traps from the very start like we did in the second half against Coventry.” Adding “”We have to rally and only we can do that.”

He says the key is to play with ‘passion` for the full 90 minutes.

Early news on www.bbc.co.uk/sport say we have no new injury problems.

The Blades boss also said on BBC Radio Sheffield:

‘If you offered me a play-off spot now I wouldn’t take it. I still think we can get automatic promotion.’
