Manager Chris Wilder has been previewing Sheffield United’s trip to Burton Albion on Friday evening and we have pretty much a full squad to choose from.

With the November international break now behind us and real football returning, we head to the Pirelli Stadium to face Nigel Clough’s side and speaking to the Official Site as he met with the media, Wilder said of our current injury situation.

‘Jamal Blackman has trained all week. He is fit and back in contention. George Baldock will train before Friday and we’ll assess him. The only two long-term ones are Kieron Freeman and Ched Evans. We had a behind closed doors friendly last week, which saw the likes of Stearman, Carruthers, Lavery, Thomas, Heneghan and Donaldson all play, so we’ve got a healthy group to choose from.’

Wilder went on to say that David Brooks returned to training on Wednesday and he was certainly in good spirits following his full debut for Wales against Panama over the international break.

‘It’s good to have the majority fit and looking to force their way into the starting XI. David reported back on Wednesday afternoon, there was no recover day for him, swimming and signing autographs! But in all seriousness, I’m really proud of him for what he achieved for Wales on Tuesday night and he deserves all the credit for his rapid progression.’

Onwards and upwards and hopefully the November break hasn’t interrupted our momentum too much.
