No sooner has the last season finished, that preparations are underway for 2020-21.
And there’s arguably no bigger sign that preparations are underway than the release of a new kit (with the possible exception of the fixtures being released), and that’s precisely what Sheffield United did yesterday.
It’s not really hard to mess up a kit, with someone like Sheffield United, red and white stripes, it’s one of the easier designs in the country, even if they did try to do something new with that diamond pattern back in the 1990s.
Are you a fan of 'concept kits'?
Yes
No
And I have to say, it does look rather good, even if there might be some form of ‘curse’ attached to it, but I’ll let you make your minds up on that one.
As much as I like the kit, it does seem that not everyone is too pleased with what the designers have come up with, as they took to social media to point out where they went wrong.
The back of the shirt is awful for fans having to buy them and £55

Hopefully the away strip looks good.

Sorry, but I'm a traditionalist, and I hate the back like that. Have one thing or the other.

Not keen on the white back at all! Why not just continue the stripes

Why oh why would you have a solid white back.
We play in Red, and White stripes.
Not in White, and Red stripes.

What about you? What do you make of the new kit?
