We’ll Wait For Brayford

I think we know that it’s well documented that Nigel Clough is keen to bring John Brayford back to Bramall Lane this season.

We also know though that Sheffield United haven’t been able to do this as yet as his parent club Cardiff City insist that he is ‘part of their plans’ for this coming season with Cardiff boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanting to take a look at the fullback.

Clough worked with the 26-year-old for a third time when he snapped him up on loan, after previous spells as his boss at Burton Albion and Derby County, and as much as he wants him back again he knows there isn’t ‘much he can do’ until Solskjaer makes up his mind.

The Blades boss is quoted in the Sheffield Star though as being happy to wait and feels that he will get a better idea the closer the season gets as to where Brayford really stands in the Cardiff plans so he is happy to carry on ‘waiting to see’ on this one….

He is also not giving up of Kieron Freeman, despite being ‘knocked back’ previously in his attempts to sign the Derby man.

Much the same thoughts on bringing last seasons successful loan Freeman back as those shared on Brayford were shared on the 22-year-old who isn’t expected to be a regular in the Derby side this season.

This site is looking for a new editor but would also like your blogs, so if a fan can offer us a genuine opinion from someone that supports Sheffield United we would love to share it with the masses!
