Blades boss Neil Warnock hopes to follow up the capture of Ade Akinbiyi with a second signing.
Burnley striker Ade Akinbiyi agreed to a move to Bramall Lane on Thursday afternoon and it is hoped that the deal will be concluded on Thursday.
United will smash their record transfer fee paid for a player when Akinbiyi signs for £1.75million but Neil Warnock says he hopes that a second signing can also be confirmed.
A host of Premiership defenders are being linked, with Liverpool’s Stephen Warnock and Aston Villa’s Mark Delaney being spoken of amongst fans.
