Sheffield United’s run without a win goes on after we had to be content with a point at Walsall on Tuesday.

An early goal looked as though it could see us through to a win at the Bescot Stadium but eventually Walsall broke through to earn the point that they deserved in a one-one draw, which does keep us in the play-offs!

Baxter’s (8) 25-yard drive had put us into an early lead, which we looked like we might have seen though but eventually a Purkiss cross was finished off by Grimes (71) just minutes after coming off the bench.

Davies (Ben) went close to winning it for us in the last minute but Walsall ‘keeper O’Donnell made a good save to deny him….
