A lot of Blades fans have been reacting to something quite miraculous that occured at the Madjeski Stadium last night.
Yes, having not found the back of the net since last April, David McGoldrick finally ended his drought when he gave Chris Wilder’s side the lead inside the opening five minutes.
It was a goal that was met with a great sense of relief amongst the Blades faithful on social media, with some pointing out just how long it’s been since we’ve been able to bring his name up in the conversation about finding the back of the net.
Will David McGoldrick reach five goals by the end of the year?
Yes
No
Now, I wonder if this bright spark will be enough to get him up to speed and finally firing in a few for us in the league campaign, because with our top scorer currently sitting on five goals for the whole campaign, we could certainly do with some more fire power.
Finallyyyyyyy
