The League 1 season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.
Sheffield United are a win away from going up as champions on 100 points.
Only one relegation spot is up for grabs with Swindon joining, Chesterfield and Coventry – it’ll most likely be Port Vale.

Bradford’s 3-0 win over Wimbledon not only secured an unbeaten League 1 season at Valley Parade it also confirmed a play-off place. City will finish no lower than fifth, the current position, but might end as high as third whereas the Dons are now six without a win.
A 3-0 victory for Bury over visiting Northampton – now seven without a win – means the Shakers are on the brink of League 1 survival. If Port Vale fail to claim all three points from their game in hand it’ll be secured before the final day.
Already relegated Chesterfield dropped to the bottom of the table as Charlton made it three wins in four, leaving the Proact Stadium with a 2-1 victory.
Coventry, like Chesterfield, were already relegated but a 1-0 win for the Sky Blues over 10-man Walsall took them off the foot of the league ahead of the Spireites.
Gillingham, who had been one up and then two one ahead, were beaten by two late Fleetwood goals – including an added time winner – that keeps the Cod Army in with a shout of finishing as runners up to Sheffield United. The Gills will need a last day win to ensure League 1 survival, unless Port Vale avoid defeat in their midweek game in hand.
Despite a second successive defeat, as Millwall slumped to a 3-0 loss to visiting Oxford, the Lions remain in sixth-place. A win to finish off and Millwall will secure a play-off place, anything but and Southend or Rochdale could come through to claim the fourth and final spot with a victory.
MK Dons suffered a second loss in three as Sheffield United remain on course to collect 100 points this season. A 3-0 win means an eighth in a row to finish off would see the Blades reach the century.
An Oldham equaliser secured them a point from a 1-1 draw against Rochdale that ensured the Latics’ League 1 survival – Dale would have moved into the top-six had they held onto a first half lead.
Peterborough United ended Bristol Rovers’ play-offs hopes with a 4-2 win at London Road. A Pirates victory would have kept them very much in the race for a top-six finish but these chances are now over.
If Port Vale fail to win their game in hand they’ll be relegated during the win – this 2-0 defeat to Bolton, who are now effectively a point away from securing automatic promotion on the final day, at Vale Park leaves Vale on the brink.
Shrewsbury’s 1-0 win over Southend moved the Shrews to the brink of League 1 survival – defeat leaves the Shrimpers, seventh, a point off the top-six.
Swindon will play football in League 2 next season after a 2-1 defeat was suffered in the visit of Scunthorpe. A fourth successive win wasn’t enough to keep the Iron in automatic promotion contention – it’ll have to be via the play-offs.
