The League 1 season continued with the latest round of games played on Easter Monday.
Sheffield United are on course for 100 points after the champions won again. Relegation was confirmed by Chesterfield, who joined already relegated Coventry – who went down on Good Friday.

Bolton Wanderers v Bury 20:00
Sheffield United’s fifth straight win came when Bradford’s automatic promotion hopes were dealt a blow with a 3-0 loss. The game was won by United by half with City’s defeat seeing them fail to get the points needed to confirm a play-off spot with them down to fifth, four points off Bolton, second, who have a game in hand.
Wimbledon and Peterborough played a an end of season 0-0 draw at Kingsmeadow.
A Bristol Rovers win over Oldham keeps the Pirates, ninth, in with a chance of making it into the top-six. The Latics would have effectively secured League 1 survival with a victory at the Memorial Stadium.
Charlton have basically staved off the threat of relegation following a 3-0 over fellow strugglers Gillingham. The Gills are four points above Port Vale, 21st, but have played a game more.
Fleetwood’s 1-0 win over Millwall saw the Cod Army cut the advantage Bolton, second, have to a point – the Trotters do have a game in hand. The Lions remain in the fourth and final play-off spot though, a point above Southend, seventh.
A Northampton lead was lost with the nine-man Cobblers holding on for a 1-1 draw with relegation threatened Shrewsbury. With it now three unbeaten for the Shrews they hold a three points lead over the bottom-four.
Oxford recovered from the Good Friday defeat with a 2-0 win over bottom-four side Port Vale – the gap between Vale and Bury remain at a point following a fourth straight defeat.
Rochdale kept alive their outside hopes of finishing in the top-six with a 2-0 win over already relegated Coventry at Spotland – a first win for bottom-side Sky Blues since relegation was confirmed.
An automatic promotion place is still possible for Scunthorpe after a 3-1 win over Chesterfield, which confirmed their place in the play-offs at least and relegation to League 2 of the visitors. The Irons, fourth, are three points off second-placed Bolton – who do have a game in hand.
Southend, seventh, missed the chance to move above Millwall into the play-offs when beaten 2-1 by MK Dons at Roots Hall. The Shrimpers are a point behind the Lions.
Walsall’s first win in seven dented Swindon’s survival hopes. This 1-0 defeat was the Robins’ first in five as they remain two points from safety.
