The FA Cup season continued with the fourth round with these games played over the weekend.

Manchester United didn’t have too much trouble overcome League 2 Yeovil on Friday.

On Saturday, fellow Premier League sides Leicester and Brighton also overcame lower league sides, the Foxes hammering Peterborough, whereas Albion just about saw off Middlesbrough.

Championship side Birmingham holding Huddersfield to a draw was somewhat surprising, but not as much as Tottenham being held at Newport, who were within 10 minutes of stunning the topflight side – this was something League 1 leaders Wigan did manage when seeing off West Ham at the DW Stadium.

Nottingham Forest – conquerors of holders Arsenal in the last round – bowed out at Hull with fancied Liverpool slipping to defeat in a five goal thriller against West Brom at Anfield in Saturday’s late kick off.

Here’s a round-up of the FA Cup results with some games to take place.
