The 2017-18 season continues with the latest round of games this weekend. This will see us among those involved with three points of course the aim.

Previous results

Tuesday 12th September
Aston Villa 0-0 Middlesbrough 19:45
Leeds United 2-0 Birmingham City 19:45
Norwich City 0-0 Burton Albion 19:45
Preston North End 3-0 Cardiff City 19:45
Queens Park Rangers 2-2 Millwall 19:45
Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Brentford 19:45
Sunderland 0-1 Nottingham Forest 19:45
Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-3 Bristol City 19:45
Bolton Wanderers 0-1 Sheffield United 20:00

Wednesday 13th September
Fulham 2-1 Hull City 19:45

Ahead of the season most would have anticipated Birmingham and Preston to be in the positions the other occupies – the Blues are in the bottom three after four successive defeats with North End sitting pretty in fifth.

Second bottom Brentford’s bid for an elusive win will next see Reading visit Griffin Park.

Cardiff are after a first win in three after a draw and defeat in the last two, which has seen them drop to second – Sheffield Wednesday head to the Cardiff City Stadium a four points and a few places below the Bluebirds.

This was a Premier League fixture last season, this term Hull and Sunderland meet at the KCOM Stadium with both now struggling at the wrong end of the Championship table too – a situation few would accept for too much longer.

Ipswich’s promising start has seen back-to-back defeats suffered but a visit from bottom side Bolton to Portman Road would be viewed as an opportunity for the Tractor Boys to get going again.

Four successive Leeds wins have taken them to the top of the table. Millwall – who have won only once all season – welcome the new leaders to the Den. Sheffield United came up from League One with the Lions last term and the Blades are flying high in third ahead of the game against Norwich.

What will happen in this one though? Cast your vote so we know if you think it’ll be all smiles or disappointment come the full time whistle.
