This week, Vital Sheff Utd passed a new milestone with the 500th member registering for the site (and 501st).

Just two years ago, when I took over editorial control we had just 63 members, showing the fantastic increase from our valued contributers.

Despite the past week being a slow one (a very slow one in fact) and perhaps not the best example, the quality of posts we have been getting is fantastic recently, and I’d like to extend a big thank-you to everybody, especially the regular contributors old and new.

A special thank you must also go to Gloucblade who has taken on a role in helping out over the past year. I first asked him if he would do the away reports due to my other work commitments, and he’s gone the extra mile and added news items and some previews. I always look forward to an email from Glouc, who always has ideas for improving, what is still a relatively small page.

However, with your help, and continued support there’s nothing stopping us from continuing our growth and putting the Blades right up there. So let’s keep the red flag, flying high.
