United waiting on players decision

An update on Anel Ahmedhodzic has been given by Alan Nixon on Twitter, as he states the Blades are waiting on the player to “decide where he wants to go”.

Previously, The Star reported United have had their £3M bid ‘provisionally accepted’ by Swedish club Malmo.

Now that Bordeaux’s first-to-buy option has expired, you would expect some form of movement on this transfer front. According to Alan Nixon, United will now have to wait for the player to decide where his future lies.

No reports have emerged of any other bids coming in from the clubs that have shown interest in the player. AC Milan and Lille have shown interest, but still, no formal offer has been said to have been placed by either side.

It looks as though this one is down to the players needs. Does he want to return to English football? Having previously played in the Nottingham Forest academy under current United coaching staff member, Jack Lester.

Is Lester’s involvement with United, and the previous relationship he had with the Bosnian from the Forest academy, enough to sway the defenders judgement in the favour of Sheffield United?

It seems United are always waiting for something. Now the option has elapsed United should ask his club, is 3m enough?. If so ask the player, is 30k a week enough? If yes then sign here. If not move on. Don’t get into the mcdounut and browser situation.

There’s always some excuse when blades try to sign players. We are all being hood winked it’s just a smoke screen when the enquire over players. I think the board have no intention of signing anyone. They think they can sell a few players and manage with what we have got. That’s my opinion we will wait and see what develops. Please prove me wrong sufc.
