Sheffield United’s more stuttering form of late continued on Saturday as we could only take a point from the Ipswich Town clash.

Heading to Portman Road for the game last weekend, Chris Wilder’s side initially fell behind shortly before the halftime break, but Billy Sharp did have us back on level terms a few minutes into the second period.

Despite largely dominating the game and having over double the efforts of the hosts, we only managed to test their goalkeeper on three occasions and ultimately that was our downfall in the search for all three points.

Website Whoscored gave their Man of the Match rating to centre-half John Egan for his efforts on the day.

Following Egan, the top five best performers on the day according to them were John Fleck (7.52), Oliver Norwood (7.45), Enda Stevens (7.13) and Sharp himself (7.09).

Mark Duffy also received a score of 7+ from the tie but we’ll be looking to get back to winning ways quickly now.
